We know that Dian has a sister named Selina but we do not know her mother's name.

Dian's Uncle Thomas Livesey joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints while still living in England. He migrated to the U.S. and died in St. Louis. Two of his daughters married to brothers surnamed Beer. They had noted in the Beer Family Journal the things they knew of their family back in England. The journal notes that Thomas had an older brother named John'. Since Thomas was born in 1818, we estimate John, Dian's father, to be born about 1816.
