She was buried on 23 Jan. 2003 at the Garden Catacomb Memorial Mausoleum Back Section Row A next to her husband. She died at the Bunkie General hospital.

Obituary:

Services for Dolores Firmin Juneau will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Patrick Braquet officiating. Burial will be in Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Juneau, age 78, of Bunkie, expired on Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, in Bunkie General Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden J. Juneau, Sr.

Survivors include a son, A.J. Juneau, Jr. of Bunkie; two daughters, Sandra Descant of Panama City, Fla., and Cathy Osborne of Russellville, Ark.; one brother, Burley Firmin of Alexandria; and one sister, Louann Ganey of Plaucheville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chris Juneau, Brian Juneau, Jason Descant, Dale Descant, Steve Osborne, and Randy Breedlove.

Friends may call at Melancon Funeral Home from 4:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. today Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. Thursday.

A Christian Wake service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. this evening.
