About Gregorio Cordero Palma

Gregorio Cordero-Palma served in the army and became a first lieutenant General March 28, 1899. After the war was over Don Gregorio and later left 1904 and resided in Concepcion Tarlac where he later raised his family and created and produced Rice and Sugarcane fields at the same time as buying and investing in raw land. 1907-1912 Don Gregorio served as Municipal Councilor for Concepcion Tarlac. During 1925-1930 and 1936-1939 Don Gregorio was elected and re-elected as Mayor of Concepcion Tarlac. 1934-1937 Common Wealth was declared for Concepcion Tarlac as Don Gregorio as Municipal President. Don Gregorio had big ideas and loved the people of Concepcion very much. Upon Don Gregorio’s death, the municipal hall was later named Don Gregorio Palma Memorial Hall. Don Gregorio has been known for his political views and talents.
