Additionally there were on the Titanic four Clerks employed in the Purser's Office to deal with passenger's enquiries and requests (including depositing valuables for safekeeping).

Donald Campell was the clerk for the third class.


When he signed-on to the Titanic, on 9 April 1912 the only address he gave was "White Star Line, Southampton". His last ship had been the Ulimaroa. His monthly wages were £5.

Campbell died in the sinking. His body, if recovered, was never identified.
