Dorothy Melton was the daughter of Sir John Melton.[1]

She married Sir George Darcy, 2nd Lord Darcy, son of Sir Thomas Darcy, 1st Lord Darcy and Dowsabel Tempest, circa 26 March 1511.[1]

She died on 21 September 1557.[1]

Her married name became Darcy.
