Drescher was the local Jewish teacher in Gliniany.

Local Ukranians had staged a 'People's Court' on the 'Gestapo style', according to Salomon Speiser. They condemned eleven people to die, took them to the woods and shot them. Among those shot was Drescher, Polack the carpenter, and Aryeh Borer, a fourteen year old.
