Basic information:
Birth: Unknown date, but born in Mantes, Pays de France (this became the Ile-de-France in the 14th century)
Baptiism: Unknown.
Marriage: 1025 or before.
Death: 13 August 1035, location is either Nicaea or somewhere west of Nicaea - he arrived in that city in present Turkey sometime between July 1 and 3, where his lord on pilgrimage to Jerusalem was poisoned on the way back from the Holy Land. The story of the fate of the knights following Robert I/II "le Magnifique" de Normandie on this pilgrimage would be useful in determining Dreux's fate.
Burial: Unknown, but probably with Robert I/II "le Magnifique" de Normandie.
Occupation: Comte de Mantes et d'Amboise
Alternate Name: Dreux (probably in France), Drogo (probably in England)... most sources say de Mantes (place of origin), though he has a second title (Comte d'Amboise).
