Edmund Kidney was born circa 1590 in Kent. He was probably the Edmund Kidney who in 1633 was " Fined and made to kneel in the aisle of Boxley Church for six Sundays for being drunk on Easter Sunday". Probably the father of Edmund b. about 1625-1633 at Boxley, Kent.
