Edward Aglionby, Esq., was the son of Edward Aglionby of Carlisle and wife Elizabeth Musgrave. Edward married Jane, daughter of Henry Brougham of Blackwell Hall. Edward died c. 1648. He appears on the 1616 Visitation of Cumberland and Westmorland Counties.

Children of Edward Agilionby and wife Jane Brougham:

• John Aglionby of Carlisle, who married Margaret, daughter of Christopher Richmond of Highland Castle. John died in 1665.
• Mary Aglionby, who married John Sandford of Askham.
