Edward Hunt Dell

SV/PROG is an 1820 Settler Thornhills Party (1781 - 1846) and the

Parents - son of Stephen Dell and Mary Hunt.

Born in England on 8th July 1781, Edward died at the age of 65 on 31st December 1846 in Grahamstown, Cape, South Africa.

He was married to Ann White SM/PROG.

They had six children:

• b 3 Edward Hunt Dell
• b 4 Samuel William Dell
• b 5 Thomas Dell
• b 6 Hannah Mary Dell

After the 8th Kaffir War, Edward took up land in the Peddie district. A private cemetery is situated on Barville Park.
