He and his wife, Thomasine, also appear to be the parents of James Frost, Sr., who was the father of James Frost, Jr. (1666 - ?).

Actually, I belive that they had a son EDMUND FROST who was b 1593, HE was the father of James Frost Sr

He left a will on 26 July 1616 at Stanstead, Co of Suffolk, which was proved 4 Oct 1616 at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. The will names wife Thomasine; son William; daughters Elizabeth, wife of Henry Rice; Anne, wife of Laurence Collen; Alice, wife of Thomas Blower; Mary Frost; Thomasine Frost; and Edward Rice, son of (his) daughter Elizabeth Rice. Executrix, his wife Thomasine. Witnesses Ambrose Briggs, Sr and Ambrose Briggs, Jr.

Edward Frost was baptized 13 Mar 1560 at Glemsford, Suffolk County, England. On 26 Sep 1585, at Gelmsford, he married Thomasine Belgrave. Thomasine was the daughter of John and Joanna (Strutt) Belgrave. Thomasine was baptized 01 Feb 1561 at Leverington in Cambridgeshire, England.

Edward Frost's Will reads:

26 Jul 1616 the will of Edward Forst of Stansteade, County of Suffolk, England, Colthier ... bequests to Thomasine, my wife, to William , my son, to my five daughters: Elizabeth, now the wife of Henry Rice; Anne, now the wife of Lawrence Collen; Alice, wife of Thomas Blower, Mary frost and Thomasine Frost ... and to Edward Rice, son of my daughter Elizabeth Rice. Executrix to be my wife, Thomasine. Witnesses: Ambrose Bigges, senior and Ambrose Bigges, junior.
