Edward married Ellen (nee Bradnock) in 1872 in the Droitwich district which spans Hereford and Worcester & Worcester.

At the time of the 1881 census Edward (aged 30) was living with his wife and children in Netley Villa, Leigh, Worcestershire.

I haven't found a record that looks as though it could be Edward and his family in the 1891 census but have found Edward and his wife in the 1901 census living in Great Malvern, Worcestershire. Edward's proffesion is stated as 'Lodging Ho Keeper' which suggests they were running a lodging house or hotel of some sort.

It appears that Edward's first child, Reginald was born in the year before he married Ellen.
