About Elaine Hulin (Domingue)

Services for Mrs. Leo Hulin Sr., the former Elaine Domingue, 65, will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at David Funeral Home Chapel-Swan with the Rev. Ken Broussard officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be observed today from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at David Funeral Home-Swan. Visitation will resume Wednesday at 8 a.m. until the time of service.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Rayne, Mrs. Hulin died at 4:08 a.m. Monday, May 31, 2004, at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

Mrs. Hulin was a housewife who enjoyed playing cards, fishing, dancing and cooking. She loved the color red and French Music. She was a very loving person.

She is survived by her four sons, Leo Hulin Jr. and Keith Hulin and wife Linda all of Rayne, Julius Hulin and wife Rebecca and Paul Hulin and wife Laurie all of New Iberia; a daughter, Elizabeth Hulin of Church Point; five sisters, Willa Mae Romero of Iberia Parish, Lena Romero of Coteau, Helen Duhon of Jefferson Island, Fannie Bonin of New Iberia and Verna Falgout of Coteau; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hulin was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Hulin Sr.; parents, Neville and Edita Morvant Domingue; a daughter, Helen Hulin; four brothers, Odilion, Dennis, James Charles and Walter Paul Domingue; two sisters, Lydia Domingue and Edith Bourque and a grandson, Keith Hulin.

Pallbearers will include Leo Hulin Jr., Paul and Keith Hulin, Verdy Touchet Jr., Archill Falgout and Kaliste Matthews Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will include Seth Stoutes, Timothy and Cy Hulin.

David Funeral Home-Swan, Iberia Street, is in charge of the arrangements.
