SALEM RESIDENT DIES AT RIGBY
Prolonged illness Saturday Morning claimed the life of Mrs. Eleanor Virgin, long time Salem resident, at the home of her son, Virl Virgin at Rigby.
Mrs. Virgin was born at St. Charles, Idaho, May 11, 1881 to John William and Mary Foster Windley, and was a resident of that community for 27 years. She moved to Salem in March following her marriage to Nephi Charles Virgin, Jr. in the Logan LDS Temple, February 23, 1911.
Her husband and three children preceded her in death.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters Reuel Virgin, Key West, Florida; Wendell Virgin, Salem, Virl Virgin, Rigby; Dell and Don Virgin, Sugar City; Mrs. Lois Dutson, Maples, Idaho; Mrs. Elva Singleton and Mrs. Gayle Singleton, both of Wilford Mrs. Leora Parkinson, Rexburg.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday (today) at 1 p.m. in the Salem ward chapel with Gerald Larsen, Bishop, officiating.
Burial is to be int he Sugar City cemetery under the direction of the Eckersell Funeral Home, Rigby.
