About Eleazor Holton
This should be considered extremely questionable due to lack of support for the parentage of Alexander Holton b. c. 1700.
No documentation on this Eleazor Holton being the father of Alexander. This and everything before is suspect. This arrangement has his grandmother emigrating to the New World, then he is a Colonel back in England. Unlikely but possible.
Carrie, I have also done extensive research on Alexander Holton and his parents. His father was COL Eleazor Holton (b. 1683 and d. Apr 1749). His mother was Sarah Alexander (b. 1700 and d. 1718). The two were married 26 Jun 1716. They had a son, Alexander (b. 1717 and d. 25 Mar 1782). Alexander married Elizabeth Brickey (b. 1707). They had three daughters (Elizabeth Ann, Sarah, and Ann) and two sons (Alexander and William). Elizabeth Ann (b. 1 Apr 1730 and d. 6 Jul 1820). She married Samuel Pepper (I have the complete tree on this marriage if you are interested). If so, please contact me at email@example.com.
