About Elena Tempest (de Tonge)
[15] Eleanor Blanche Tempest, Tempest Pedigrees, shows Richard's wife as Elena, daughter and coheir of Richard de Tong, citing Harrison's History of Yorkshire, but says, "authority for confirming this not found yet." Elena de Tong is shown in several pedigrees as Richard's wife, presumably following EBT, but I have seen no evidence for this marriage.
