Witnesses at the wedding were: Isaac Dyason, Sarah Dyason, Richard Gunters(?). The wedding took place at St Paul's Anglican church, Rondebosch, Cape Town.

How and why did Elizabeth go down to Cape Town? Where did she meet Vincent? Did the parents travel down for the wedding, or had they moved there by 1845?
