AJM note 2009: Mom has a photo with "Grammie," in a hat, standing to left of Daddy Bill (in uniform) with Bonnie (in a long soft coat) on his right. Mom does not remember her maiden name, but says that should be in records in Germantown.

AJM note 2011: Rebecca's report calls her "Elizabeth Aarons Bentley," so Aarons is presumably her maiden name. Also mentions her living in California: "Frank and Enda... would go to Long Beach, California to visit Edna's mother Elizabeth whose second Husband George Hoover had died." McClure was Grammie's third and last husband. and she outlived him as well. She continued to live in Long Beach,CA until her last 2 or 3 years when she came to Germantown, TN, to stay with Edna and Frank. She died in Germantown in the late 1950's from Liver disease and Edna and Frank took her back to CA where she was buried in a masoleum at the large Forest Lawn Cemetery ( where many prominent people are buried.i) Edna died in Germantown in 1961 and is buried in Memphis. Frank died in 1966 in Germantown and in buried in a plot with Edna in Memorial Park Cemetery on Poplar Pike in Memphis.
