Baby’s Playmates

Frank had no playmates as we had no neighbors with children his age. Elizabeth Shearer used to come over and play with him but lived some distance so he didn’t see her so often.

The summer of 1913, Mr. Otto bought an “autobile” so they brought Ruth out for an afternoon or holiday often.

LEAVES FOR EAST

Charles J. Shearer, advertising man for the leading merchandisers of Tucson, left this morning for a month’s vacation trip to the east. He will stop a week in Chicago and then go on to New York City, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania points. Mrs. Shearer, who is living near Chicago, will not return until November. Mr. Shearer has not seen his children, who reside in New York City, for three years.
