Elizabeth Knopp

Married to William Knapp (perhaps) the son of Robert Knapp and Margaret Poley, NOT WIlliam Knapp son of Thomas Knapp and Alice Howlett.

Elizabeth was a daughter of John Reade. Her mother's name was Margaret (maiden name unknown). John Reade provided legacies to Elizabeth and her husband in his will, dated 8 July 1597.[1]

Elizabeth Reade, was married to William Knopp on the 27th, September, 1584, at Bures St. Mary, Suffolk, England.[2]

She was buried at at Bures St. Mary's, Suffolk, on 4 October 1640. Her husband had died earlier.[3]

Five children were born into the marriage of William Knopp and Elizabeth Reade, all in Bures St. Mary, Suffolk:[4]

• John, baptized 12th Nov, 1587.
• Rose, baptized 22nd Feb, 1590, died 3rd Mar, 1634, Bures St. Mary, Suffolk, England.
• Elizabeth, baptized 8th Jul 1593, died 19th Feb, 1664, Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.
• William, baptized 16th Jan, 1597, buried 21st Apr 1627 at Bures St. Mary, Suffolk, England .
