At the time of the 1861 census Ellen (aged 13) was living in Birmingham. If she was living with her parents, it's likely that their names were Isabella and Charles as they are the only people with that surname who would have been the right sort of age.

Ellen married Edward in 1872 in the Droitwich district which spans Hereford and Worcester & Worcester.

At the time of the 1881 census Ellen (aged 30) was living with her husband and children in Netley Villa, Leigh, Worcestershire.

I haven't found a record that looks as though it could be Ellen and her family in the 1891 census but have found Edward and Ellen in the 1901 census living in Great Malvern, Worcestershire. Edward's proffesion is stated as 'Lodging Ho Keeper' which suggests they were running a lodging house or hotel of some sort.

It appears that Ellen's first child, Reginald was born in the year before she married Edward.
