Kamas Lady Passes

At her home in Kamas last Sunday morning Ellen Elizabeth Gines, aged 81 years of the Woodland ward where she has resided for 59 years, died after a brief illness. She was born September 19, 1848 at Rutland Vermont. She married Samuel Gines 63 years ago. He died in 1929. The couple were the parents of eleven boys and two girls. Six children survive as follows: Lyman of Kamas; Abram. William and Jacob of Tabiona; Mrs. Freeman Bowers and Frank Gines of Woodland: also a brother William Russell of Kamas; 53 grandchildren and 63 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at one p.m., in the Woodland ward chapel, and were largley attended.
