Emma Hardesty - Emma Hardesty of Lyons died at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday in Glenburn Rest Haven Nursing Home, Linton.
Born August 22, 1889 in Koleen, she was the daughter of Leonard and Martha Williams Edington.
She was a member of the Lyons Church of Christ and a 1962 retiree from Central Supply in the old Freeman Greene County Hosptial.
Among those surviving are one son Eugene W. Hardesty, Sr. of Lyons; grandson Eugene W. Hardesty Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one granddaughter, Jeanie Britton of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her husband James, son Olaf, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons with Rev. Billy Ed. Hostettler officiating.
Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to service hour Saturday.May 19, 1983."
