Military experience
Enoch was also a 2nd Lieutenant of a company of Minute Men (91), with his second cousin Samuel as 1st Lieutenant, and his brother, Comfort, and his second cousin, Ezekiel, as privates, under command of Captain Jabez Ellis, that marched on the evening of April 19, 1775, the day of the Lexington Alarm, to Roxbury, Massachusetts.
