GALON – Ervin Galon, born January 2, 1919 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada passed away peacefully on February 1, 2010. He was loved by all and will be missed. After a rough start in life, he met and married Berniece Mjolsnes. They settled in Quincy, CA, where they raised six children. After retirement they moved to Lake Shastina at the base of Mount Shasta, where he enjoyed playing golf and gathering wood. He always had a magnificent wood pile. After the death of his beloved wife, he moved to Socorro where he spent the remainder of his life. He is preceded in death by his wife Berniece, his son Garth, and his sister Ruth Bryan. He is survived by his sister Evelyn Fite, his children Kaye Galon, Kathie Issac, Steven Galon, Melanie Galon, and Joe Galon; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
