About Eugenia (Yafa) Feldman (Rosenberger)

There is no absolute proof that Eugenie is actually the child of Samuel Rosenberger and Maria Weintraub. There is a page of testimony in Yad Vashem for Eugenie (Yafa) Rosenberg (not Rosenberger) whose parents were Shalom and Miriam (Maria's Hebrew name could easily have been Miriam), Eugenie was born in 1898 in Mattersdorf. She was married and had at least four children. Her permanent residence was Vienna, and she perished in Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp in 1942. The page of testimony was submitted by her son, Yaakov Feldman on 5 August 1955. I assume that her children Sara, Josef, and Brakha perished as they were listed on the page of testimony and Yaakov was not.Additonally there is some conflicting information about her death. According to the DOEW website According she was deported from Vienna to Kovno Ghetto on 23 Nov 1941 and died 6 days later.
