HACKER VALLEY - Fanny Fisher, 89, of Hacker Valley died June 26, 1998, at home.

She was a homemaker and member of Cowger Community Church, Cowger Hill, and was a lifelong resident of Webster County.

Surviving: daughters, Dessie Anderson and Hazel Fisher, both of Hacker Valley, Waneta Brown of Weston, Mable Hamrick of Wallace, Joann Simmons of Seville, Ohio; sons, Glen "Buck" Fisher and Lonnie "Sonny" Fisher, both of Hacker Valley; 25 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with the Rev. Larry Cochran and the Rev. Cecil Williams officiating. Burial will be in Ware Cemetery, Hacker Valley. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
