About Feibusch Kopel

The Kopels had no children. They lived in Esther and Israel Malinsky's (his parents-in-law) house. His nephew Haim Zudkowitz remembered that he had a brother.

He also remembered his visits to his aunt and uncle in Lutomiersk, Poland, when he was a boy. They were both very nice people. Feibusch was a very sweet man, a "Hassid", and spoke good German. He showed my father around, took him to the synagogue (he was an excellent "Chazan" and sang beautifully) also took him to the Hassidims' courts and to the farmers, who were mostly Germans, with whom the family traded. All this was fascinating for my father, a city boy from Chemnitz, Germany. .
