I think this is a photograph of Florence Ruth...(sometimes she's called 'Flora'). It's marked H.E. Paige, Gananoque and it was among Rex's photographs. She didn't live to be 40, (though it's a little difficult to figure out her exact birthdate, the Gananoque Reporter recorded the date of her death: D Dec 11 1909, Mrs EG Cosh nee Bell).
