About Francis Ball

Francis a Springfield propr. 1643. Contracted to build a shop for a smith Sept. 4, 1646. Town officer. He m. 3, 1644, Abigail BURT; children Jonathan born 1645, Samuel born 164 7-8. He was drowned in the Connecticut River in Oct 1648. The widow married 2, 1649, Benjamin MUN ; after his death she married 3, Dec 21, 1672, Thomas Stebbins, Jr. who died Sept 5, 1683. S he deposed regarding land of Francis BALL, Feb 9, 1690, age about 67 years. Made agreement w ith sons Jonathan and Samuel B. Sept 30, 1684. --------------------

 Francis Ball married Abigail Burt, daughter of Henry Burt and Ulalia Marche, on 3 October 1644 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.1 Francis Ball died on 3 October 1648; drowned in the Connecticut River.1
