Frank Altman Dies at Work

The community was greatly shocked when the news of the death of Frank Altman was heard.

The cause of his death being heart failure and occurred Monday, October 1, at 2:30 p.m., while he was out in the field digging potatoes. He had stopped the horses attached to the digger with which he was working and evidently made an effort to dismount from the digger when he was stricken. He received slight bruises in the fall. Mr. Altman was apparently in his usual good health, being in town that morning on business. He was one of Southfork's most prominent, highly respected and well known residents and his death will be keenly felt by everyone on the community.

Funeral services will be held at the farm home Saturday morning and interment made in the Mora cemetery-- Ogilvie, Sentinel.
