About Frank Watkins Jarnagin

Entered the steel business at Chicago and later moved to Pittsburg PA where he worked for 8 years in steel. In 1910 he traveled to England to study sheep, cattle and horse framing. He returned to Glenmore in Jefferson City, TN, and specialized in raising horses, Duroc hogs and short horned cattle. Frank lived at Glenmore for 51 years, bought the Mossy Creek Mill in 1918 and ran the business until 1940.
