"Sir Henry, born 16 August 1782, in St. Marylebone, and baptised in that parish 24 same month; colonel 14th Dragoons; lieut.-general in the Army; K.C.B. 18 May 1860; a distinguished Peninsular and Waterloo officer. Died 29 July 1860, having married, in St. Marylebone, by license, Emily, only daughter of Gerard Devisme of Lisbon, 28 June 1810, by whom, who died 23 November 1873, he had issue."
