Headstone inscribed with Andrews, Mason, Ashford in bottom right. Footstones on back, G.B. 1799 and H.B. 1827. To the memory of George BRENCHLEY of this parish who departed this life June 17th 1799 aged 59 years. Also of Hannah his wife who died 24th January 1827 aged 84. They had issue 13 children namely: Thomas, Ruth, Edward, James, David, Hannah, George, Elizabeth, Anna Maria, John, Mary, William & Daniel. Seven of whom survived them viz: Edward, James, David, Hannah, Elizabeth, John and William. Here lieth those who were in life a loving father and a virtuous wife free from env, hatred, and ambition happy are they who died in their condition.
