About George Lawson

George Lawson was housemaster of Gladstone House. He married twice: both wives died within two years of their marriage to George. Each wife gave him one son. An outbreak of typhoid fever at the school killed his second wife and George himself with a short space of time, leaving the two boys orphaned. They were sent to an Infant Orphanage Asylum at Wanstead
