Note I

Edmyfed Vychan by his second wife, Gwellian, daughter of Rhys ap-Gruffydd had two sons; 1st., Grono, Lord of Terf Castell, the ancestor of Henry VII, and two daughters, a younger son who was Gruffydd of Henglawdd the ancestor of Bishop Lloyd, in the 13th generation.

Among the noted ancestors of Bishop Lloyd it is interesting to note Marsia, author of Marsian Code of Laws.

Note II

Marschudd ap Cynan, Lord of Brynffenigl, in Denbghland, founder of the VIII Noble Tribes of North Wales and Powys, who flourished in the middle of the ninth century.

The house of Tudor - Henry VII, in the same Welsh line of Lloyd, traces to Brutus, grandson of Aeneas, King of Troy.

Compiled during the reign of Henry VII; also a pedigree starting with the Kings of Powys. 1st., Gen. Gwrtheyrn (or Vorteigern) was original Lord of Enas. When he became King he invited over the Saxons under Hengist and Horsa, A.D. 454, and 73 generations to Cruffydd.
