Mr George Thomas Macdonald Symons, 24, was born in Weymouth on 23 February 1888.
When he signed-on to the Titanic, on 6 April 1912, he gave his address as 55 Fanshaw St., (Southampton). His last ship had been the Oceanic. As a Lookout he received monthly wages of £5.
Symons was put in command of Emergency Lifeboat 1.
