DEATH: From The Mountaineer, of Strassbourg, Sask. of April 22, 1943 we learn of the death of Mrs. D. A. Paul who passed away at their home there on April 13. The funeral took place on April 15. The funeral services were conducted in the United Church on April 15, by Rev. F. Morgan. The last rights of the Order of the Eastern Star performed by officers of the local chaper. Burial was made in the family plot in the Crescent Road Chapter.

The late Mrs. Paul, whose maiden name was Grace Horsburgh, was born in Holstein, Ontario, on March 3, 1867 [Note: 1868]. In 1893 she was married to Duncan Paul at Holstein. Six years later the family came west to Killarney, Manitoba, where they resided for some years before settling on a homestead east of Govan. Since 1910 the family has resided in Strassbourg.

Besides her sorrowing husband, Mrs. Paul is survived by two sons Wilbert A. Paul of Strassbourg, and Wm. J. Paul of Oklahoma Citly, Oklahoma; three daughters, Mrs. Wm. Kentish of Codette, Mrs. Ed. Cardo of Strassbourg, and Miss Phyllis Paul of Macoma, Sask.; three sisters and five brothers. One brother, Andrew Horsburgh of Moose Jaw attended the funeral. Other brothers are Norburn and Wm. Horsburgh of the 12th of Egremont, Walter of Fordwich. Sisters are Ethel, Mrs. Wes. Love of Holstein, Ont., Margaret, Mrs. James Herriott, of Conn, Mima, Mrs. Dan McFarlen [McFadyen], of Elm Creek, Man. One sister, Charlotte, Mrs. Wm. Todd, died at Sperling, Sask.
