Gyrid Olafsdotter, wife of Harald.

In some sources (Adam of Bremen) Harald's wife is called Gunhild. It is possible that they are two different people, but since no sources give any hint of where she might might have come from, we'll assume here that they're the same person.

She has nothing to do with Herfast de Crépon.

Ut over dette kjenner vi ikke det minste til Gunhild, men det er sannsynlig at kong Haralds datter Gunhild er oppkalt etter sin mor. I så fall har vi en bekreftelse på dronning Gunhilds eksistens. Biography Gyrid was the daughter of King Olof (II) Björnsson of Sweden and Queen Ingeborg Thrandsdotter. She was the sister of the Swedish throne claimant Prince Styrbjörn Starke, whom she accompanied to Denmark when he left Sweden after his inheritance to the throne was denied him, in order to marry Harald Bluetooth.
