About Harry Gordon Selfridge, Jr.
Harry Gordon Selfridge Jr. was born on 2 April 1900 at Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Harry Gordon Selfridge and Amelia "Rose" Buckingham.
He married Charlotte Elsie Dennis on 10 June 1940 at Libertyville, Illinois.
He left Selfridges in England and returned to the U.S. in 1940 where he continued to work as a retail executive.
Harry died on 30 November 1976 at Red Bank, New Jersey, at age 76.
