About Hallie Margarett Gibson

Gibson Margaret, 84, of R. 3, Kendallville, died at 3:30 a.m. today at her residence. She was born in Boleyn, Ky., Feb. 16, 1896, the daughter of Willie and Patsy (Bolen) Gibson. She married Willard Gibson Jan. 1, 1930 in Garrett, Ky. He preceded her in death. She moved to Kendallville 30 years ago from Ky. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Tina Conley of Kendallville; four sons, Willie Cox and Denver Gibson of Kendallville; Odes Cox of Corunna, and Dennis Gibson of South Milford; a sister, Malissa Collins of Garrett, Ky.; three brothers, Carew and Ernest of Kendallville, and Tom of South Milford; 40 grandchildren; and 56 great-grandchildren. Four sons, three daughters and four brothers preceded her in death. Services will be Saturday in Community Baptist Church near South Milford with Rev. Leburn Combs and Rev. Sterling Bolen officiating. Burial, Orange Cemetery.
