About Hannah Prentice (Chesebrough)

1. From the records of the First Church of Preston, Connecticut: "May 1 4, 1702, spouse of Joseph Prentice owned the Covenant." Our best definition of "Covenant" is: An agreement among members of church to hold to points of doctrine, faith, etc. It appears then that Hannah had the responsibility to carry out the duties and obligations set down in the Covenant or in other words the "Covenator."

2. Also from the records of the First Church of Preston: "July 8, 170 5, Hannah, spouse of Joseph Prentice, admitted to communion"
