Hans and Susanna lived in a province or Erbach--in Gemmelsbach. They had six sons and four daughters, the youngest of which was John Peter-- who sailed for America in 1751.

...from the province of Gemmelsbach, Conrad Schindel and wife Barbara. To them was born October 18th, 1685, a son, who was named Hans Conrad Sohindel. He was married January 10th, 1710 to Susan Trexler, or Euerlebach, also a province of Erbach.
