Harry Corn (Kornblatt), 30, was born in Russia.

In 1912 he was living in London's East End. He had a small upholstery business but was encouraged to go to America where the prospects were so much better. His wife, Rebecca's parents were keen to have the family living near to them. They had fled the pogroms of Eastern Europe and settled with their family in America whilst Harry and Rebecca sought sanctuary in England. So, the business and house were sold and passage booked for the family to travel but at the last minute, one of their children Fanny and Yeta became ill with a fairly commonplace child's disease. It was decided therefore that Harry would go on alone and Rebecca and the children would follow.

He boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a third class passenger (ticket number SOTON/OQ 392090 , £8, 1s).

Corn lost his life in the disaster. His body, if recovered, was never identified.
