ROCK RAPIDS REVIEW Newspaper dated 12/7/1916 says

Mrs Hauke Klaassen, widow of the late Harm Klaassen, has filed in the district court petition for the partitioning of real estate in Grant township owned by her husband at the time of his death. The heirs are Mrs. Klaassen, who will receive one third, and Mrs. J. D. Harberts, Mrs. George Abels, Klaas H Klaassen, Harm H Klaassen, Andreas Klaassen, Mrs. John Abels, Mrs. John Hassebroek, and John, Fred, Richt and Engel Klaassen. Each child is to receive two thirty-thirds of the estate. All the heirs live in the vicinity of George. The suit is a friendly one.
