About Helen Hiller (Wurtzel)

Moses and his wife Helen Hiller were deported from Cracow on 14 March 1943.

Prior to deportation their two year old son Shachne had been given refuge by Josef Jachowicz and his wife in nearby Dabrowa.

Moses and Helen Hiller did not survive the war. Shachne not only survived the war but was eventually reunited with relatives in the United States of America, after having been cared for by Josef Jachowicz and his wife.
