The descendants of Per Jönsson, b. 1776, and his wife Hanna Olsdotter, b. 1788, Tostarp Härslöv, have gathered for the third time, coming from Gävle in the north to Kyrkheddinge in the south, to the awaited meet. Mrs Helga Johansson, Tågarp, has primarily been the one to organize and to render the meet as pleasant as it also turned out be.

The gathering took place at “the church of the fathers”, in Härslöv, where the participants attended High Mass. The vicar Nils-Olof Hemby spoke in remembrance—addressing the family in particular—regarding the importance of the church in the lives of their fathers. A choir, consisting of the younger relatives, sang Hultman's song “Tack, o Gud, för vad som varit” from the grandstand. The celebration extended to the graves of the deceased where flowers were put down and hymns were sung.

After this, a winding caravan of cars headed towards Gröndals hembygdsgård where the 150 guests were treated to festivities at the dinner tables with farmer Edvin Roos from Härslöv as the toastmaster. The oldest family member—87-year-old Mrs Emma Roos, counts 9 children, 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren—participated from start to finish during the family reunion while rejoicing the fact.

Mrs Edith Hemby gave a lecture with tie-ins to the family history based on a couple of chapters from her yet to be published 'hembygdsbok' named “Här är den bygden: Härslöv genom tiderna”. Arnolds orkester from Ängelholm elevated the mood during the feast and later also invited to dance. After agreeing to repeat the family meet again within three years time, everyone parted happily around midnight from a successful and rewarding day.
