They had 10 children. About the time of their marriage, they settled in Killingworth, CT. Crane was "young, enterprising and ommparatively poor in worldly goods, and withal a man calculated to lead rather than to be led, he cast his fortune into the new enterprise. He was one of the original planters of Killingworth, in 1665." He married second the widow of Henry Champin of Lyme, CT.
