Perhaps son of John of High Easter, Essex who married Grace Ennew of Coggheshall (Essex Visitations 1634). Grandfather of William (adm 1627) and of Edward (adm 1638).

William Glascock, matriculated pensioner 17 March 1626/7; BA 1629/30. Admitted at Gray's Inn as "son and heir of Henry Glascock of Hartisowberrie, Essex" 7 Feb 1630/31. Eldest son of Henry [matric. Christ's 1581] of "Hartishobury" (Hartesbury) of Farnham, Essex, and of Margery, sister of Sir. Will. Fitch. Elder brother of Edward (adm'd 1638). Married Elizabeth, dau of George Skiers of Slyfield, Surrey, and had sons Ignatius and William, perhaps also Richard (adm'd 1654/5). Essex Visit. 1664-8.

Will of Robert Wiseman 1628.

I Robert Wiseman of Canfield magna in the Countie of Essex Esq3, the 17th daie of Aprill 1628, doe make this my p'sent testament in forme following. I commend my sowle unto Allmightie God, and my bodie to be buried in the Chancell of the church of Canfield next unto my last wife. I make my brother Willm Wyseman my Executor. I give vnto (him) my mannor of much Canfield and my mannor of little Maplesteed which is in reuercon after ye death of my vncle Edmond Wiseman. I giue vnto my brother Thomas Wiseman twentie poundes a yeere issueinge out of fower hundred poundes which my brother in lawe William Luckine hath. Vnto my brother Kenellme Wiseman twenty poundes. Vnto Mary Bolton, now wife of Thomas Bolton of Woodbridge in Suffolke, twenty poundes. Vnto my sister Susan Wiseman twentie poundes. Vnto my sister Parnell Lycense wife of John License of Enfield in the countie of Midd. one hundred pounds. Vnto my Kinswoman Rebecca Wiseman, daughter of Robert Wiseman Ksq3 the sume of tenn poundes. I ordaine of this my will Henry Glassecock of Hartisbury in the countie of Hartford gent, my overseer. I give vnto the said Henry tenn ponndes to be paid vnto him a yeare after my decease. Robert Wiseman, son and heir of Thomas Wiseman of Canfield in Essex, was brother to Sir William Wiseman, who was created a Baronet in 1628, and to Mary, wife of Thomas Bolton of Woodbridge named in his will. Harl. MS. 1187. He married Anne, daughter of Sir Gamaliel Capel, but died without surviving issue. -------------------- From the documents below, this Henry Glascock appears to be an intermediary generation between Henry Glascock who matriculated Christ's College, Cambridge in 1581 and his grandsons, the brothers William and Edward who matriculated in 1626 and 1638, respectively.
