About Henry Wyatt Moore Radford

Henry Wyatt Moore (19 October 1835 – 1 October 1906) grew up at Tempe House with his mother and her second husband Alexander Brodie Spark from the age of 4.

After studying medicine at Sydney Hospital he was in the first intake of students at Sydney University.

In 1859 he became a pastoralist on the Fitzroy River Queensland. His property suffered heavily from floods and in 1862 he became a clerk with the Queensland Parliament, rising to the position of Clerk of the Legislative Council and Clerk of Parliaments which he held to retirement in 1902.

He died at his home “Ravenfield” and is buried at Toowong Cemetery, Queensland.
